Another outstanding
feature of the new building was the stained glass windows.
The glass was imported from Belgium. The artisans used as
the prominent design in the windows the religious symbols used
in many church windows: the lamb, the open Bible, the cross and
crown, and the lamp. Also interwoven with these are many
forms of the cross such as the equilateral, the equilateral diagonal
or Cross of Templar, and the cross of ovals or Teutonic cross.
The often subtle use of crosses enhances the pictorial symbols.
The arrangement of the crosses and the use of color combinations
are unique.
